Halo!
how is life for mi? bloody bad................ no la. just needed some time to reconsolidate myself and to get a grip of what i'm studying. now tt all is back to normal and i know wad the hell is going on, i can explain my life in Darmstadt.

Semester:
this sem i am only taking 3 modules. yes 3 seems so slack but there are criterias i need to fulfil.

Stahlbetonbau - Reinforced Concrete Anlaysis

To get a Pass/Fail Grade, you will need to pass 5 out of 6 tests. Should u be unable to pass more than 5, you can still retake the at least 2 more tests at the end of the semester IF, and only IF you pass at least 3 tests during the sem.

so i have done my 3rd test today. SO i feel i flunk it coz .....
1) i take more time to understand wad the questions ask (yes, it is PURE german).
2) I dun hav the luxury of the time to flip tru my dictionary. why? COZ THE TEST IS BLOODY 20 MINUTES!!!!!
3) so after thinking and translating the questions, a good 5 minutes is gone. i have left 15 MINUTES to complete 4 questions.
4) i compete with german students gg tru the german school system for 20 years or so, while i only learn basic german in less than 2 years.

Aftermath:
by far, this is the most stressful module. and i put in the most time n effort coz i wann to do well.



Stahlbau - CE Materials and Systems Analysis

To get a S/U grade, u will need to pass 6 out of 7 assignments in order to sit for the exams. For SEP students, u will need to pass 6 out of 7 assignments in order to sit for a Oral Test with the Professor.

Not much of stress, but having oral exams???????? in german? ( yes, please brush up on ya german, my prof told me) i almost fainted.
the good thing is the assignments are all take-home ones so no worries man. Oral Exam??? worry abt it later.



Geotechnik 1 - Geotechnical Engineering 1

To get a S/U grade, you will have to form a group of at least 4 students to arrange a Oral Presentation with the tutor at the end of the semester.

short n sweet. NO STRESS. just present ORALLY only ma???

NO. where to find students who are exchange students??? I doubt any normal student wanting to get a reasonable grade wann to group with mi who only bother a pass. tt is the challenge put to mi.


So .........................

every time there is a test nearing for the first module, i will be so stress man. URGH. u knwo u prepared very throughly but when it comes to the crunch, u know u need to think and write fast under 20minutes, but u r handicapped !!! hello!!! handicapped!!!

But the other two modules are manageable. i will uploads photos soon !! maybe after my lect later.

Who says SEP is easy? PUI PUI PUI PUI!!!!!!!!

If u r coming to Germany, please learn ya baiscs very well. it will put u in good stead!!
i would not reccomend my uni for those aspiring engineering students. U will have to work bloody hard to get a pass. but see it as a challenge, coz TUD is famed for its engineering excellence and they give monthly allowances! hur hur ok ciao!
