A few things to point out:

1)
YAHEHAJKEWHERWLHELH!@!# finished my 1 out of 3 exams. Actually, it is not even an exam. The tutor gives you a question and tells u to finish in 20 minutes. Even u din finish, the tutor just want to know how u go tru ya steps and explain in german. You will have to explain pathetically in german. But the tutor was very understanding. So i explain by drawing n writing out the equations. When the tutor ask something, u will have to answer correctly. So u fake dunno until he ask in such simple german tt u finally understand wad he wanted u to answer. The whole process took abt 30 minutes and i was given a pass. *drop mouth*

It is called Kolloquium or Colloquium in english. By right, to take the real exam, u will have take 2 courses over a period of 2 semesters and take the exam at the end of sem 2. But since mine is S/U, a Kolloquium do just fine for mi. Will have to get tru the admin to settle my certs which is pretty cumbersome. oh well...

The next two test wil be tough coz both are done orally, with the Profs. Both are personally arranged just for mi. Doing a question with a tutor is fine. But explaining how to do a question to a PhD grad with freaking huge experience is demeaning to them. They will definitely be vicious and unrelenting questions gunning at me. *stress*

The worst thing is they are arranged a month later. I am working next week. I dun wan to work and worry abt my studies at the same time. It just feels being restrained when u just wan to go with ya life. New adventure .... Office work in german. How cool is tt?? I hope all goes well.

2) CONGRATS KR TENNIS gers N BADMINTON guys !!!!!!!!!!

a) Badminton guys won gold twice in a row. That is commendable. That is call consistency. Hope another gold next year!

b) Superb job by tennis gers, especially happy for hailin, yunwen n jingx. :)

It goes to show that we can be champions without overrelying on outside talent. We cant nurture sports players into talented players but we can welcome talent with open arms and accept and assimilate them into our KR family. That shud be our way of attracting talents of NUS-bound JC students. We ought to forgo short term goals and concentrate wad we want for our IHG future. Get talents and assimilate them into our KR family, let them feel the LOVE. They will appreciate it and try to encourage their juniors choose KR. Word of mouth this way will be way better than the current short term goals being done. Really delighted for the tennis gers coz they showed us that we can be both active in hall n in the sports we love. That shud be the way and i hope they will continue to lead by example.

That way, victory will be way much sweeter. :)

3) KR CHEERLEADING ROCKS AR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i watched their video for IHG closing. one word: WAH.

i din know the stunts were like Bring-it-on style. They were amazing with those stunts. Mouth-watering also. To be able to do these stuff in an impossible 2 months is really out of this world. Right, the trainings are freaking tough coz of the daily complains i hear until i was numbed, hur hur. But wad matters is that these cheerleaders have a knack of proving ppl wrong. I was skeptical if they are able to pull it off. But with a motivated leader in the mould of step, it shows tt sometimes u just have to believe it can be done.

With younger seniors and first years being so daring to try and succeed, The future for KR is bright.
