I chanced upon this article while searching for the late Tan Sri Prof. Chin Fung Kee. I have no idea who he was until i read his research paper on some geotechnical topic regarding the Chin analysis in my office in Germany. I found out that Chin analysis is widely used for many geotechnical calculations. My first thought was," wah ! malaysian prof so zai!" i tried to researched more on it but unfortunately there was no website about his research and literature. A pity. The only thing i do know is he design the Penang Bridge. Some Malaysian i am eh?


KR Command

Tonight is the time for laughter, joy, surprise and finally tears. Maybe the 1st years wun feel all tt cycle of emotion tonight. Maybe they will.

As the 1st years made a full transition as true blue Kent Ridgeans, the final years come forth to bide their last farewells in most unexpected ways,

much to our surprise
much to our delight
much to our amusement
much to our unwillingness

While KR seniors look back to their past few years, they will remember:
what great ways each and every final years have moulded their KR experience.
what colorful memories each and every final years have spiced up our hall life.
what feelings and passion each and every final years have induced in us.
what values, moral or mortal, each and every final years have inculcate in our minds.

Though we never say thank you to each and every final years through out our stay, just like how we never find the courage to thank our parents for bringing us up, we thank them immensely for wat they have done for KR in our hearts.

For this night, no amount of thank-yous will suffice the effort they put in.
For this night, no amount of tears will wash away our memories we have tgr.
For this night, no amount of passion we have in our entire lives will surpass the passion we shared for KR.
For this night, we say thank you in our very own KR manner - Command.









to the Final Years: I wish i had been there to see u guys perform silly. but i could not. tt was y i made those farewell gifts for u guys. tt was y i cried while doing those farewell gifts coz i know i cant attend Command. Thank you once again. you guys made KR special for us juniors. :)
