1. Things to apply

- NUS SEP Forms

Once u r done with tt and u recive confirmation for the SEP uni. Congrats!

- NUS Module Matching Forms

Visit the SEP co ordinator for any doubts. She may appear non-chalant all the time, but she is very helpful. Very much like JL type.

A tip wud be to ask her for module matching forms NUS students did in previous years. Note that u shud get forms previous NUS students who went to the SEP Uni u been allocated.

This makes things easier:
1. u dun need to surf the uni website to match yourself manually
2. save the time to decide wat modules to take as previous NUS stud have taken, u shud not hav a prob too.
3. save your SEP Coordinator the trouble of checking the modules for u.

- Look up for previous Seniors/students gg to the same Uni
Once u hav gotten all the forms cleared, ask SEP Cod for previous students who went for the same Uni and department.
Contact them and meet up if possible. get them to relate their experience to u so u hav a rough idea.
some may not be so helpful but they cud provide valuable insight as to wad subjects to avoid.

will be good if u make frens with ppl gg to the same uni. this way, it wud be easier as u all can constantly remind eaach other as to wad to take note, etc. some sort of a buddy system.


-NUS SEP loan
it wud be good if u cud get a loan. since NUS wiling to lend, y not? There are also many other busuries at the NUS SEP website. Go check it out in details and decide which loan/busuries u r entitled.

- Post SEP semester schedule

Have a detailed plan of wad subjects u may be taking after coming back from SEP.
Update this schedule as often as possible and weigh the possibities of taking other modules shud u fail ya sep modules.

It is not impossible to fail ya SEP modules. Play hard but study Harder.


- Visa
With NUS admin out of the way and given the green light, now is time for visa.

Best tiem to apply: 2 to 3 months b4 u fly off.
Where to apply: the respective Embassy, google for their website


Tips:

i din know Visa is just a sticker pasted on ya passport. So i din bring my passport the first trip and i had to make a second trip.

u might need to pay a application fee. German visa, i paid S$80 i think.

Shud u plan to travel other countries, best is to check if u need visa for the countries u plan to travel. apply for it too here b4 u fly off.


- Corresponding with the SEP Uni
Email them to check for a few things

1. accomodation
2. who will be picking u up at the airport
3. Letter of Acceptance by SEP Uni
4. when is the best time to fly over. (2 weeks or 1 month b4 sem starts? )


all these will occur within the 2 months b4 u fly off. so no need to email them too early anyway.
